This film is a goofball vehicle film but it definitely uses high school and graduation as it core setting. It cannot be left out of this mix. A boy tries to get the girl he has a crush on to finally notice him at this high school graduation party. There are your jocks, nerds, goffs and the like all sloshing around together drinking and partying. It's in the graduation-as-an-excuse-to-be-stupid/bold category. No gift here.
